State Street Brats

I'm not going to lie, when you drop your first born and only child bat college you are going to need yourself an ice cold beer. After writing the tuition check (4x to cost of my first car) we ambled over to the State Street to soothe our frazzled nerves. The patio looked inviting, so we went in. First, the walk up ordering is genius. The staff was friendly and made us wiser as to the origin story of the red brat. The mustard selection alone at the condiments bar was enough to make a grown man weep. We had the waffle fries and two cold 🍺 🍺. For a split second in time, life was normal and good. And then my friends we walked back to campus, wrapped up some things and drove crying home.

SO many good times!!! Red Brat is my fav! Love the weekend college nights in MADTOWN!
